Sneak Peak Pattern Preview, the Cape Part 3

As I mentioned earlier, our good friends Kate and Karen from Berkshire Quilts joined us for the weekend. Kate and Karen run their own series of successful quilt weekends and each of them sell an individual pattern line. Kate owns Kate Mitchell Quilts and Karen owns QuiltLily Designs. Note: Kate and Karen gave me permission to post these photos of their patterns in progress.

Both of them were working on new pattern designs. Kate spent the weekend working on this adorable pattern called Bye Bye Blackbird which she just posted on her Facebook Page.
Isn't it interesting to see how different the same pattern looks in different colors? I kept asking Kate if she could add a pug to the pattern...

Kate at work.

A work in progress. Check out Kate's Facebook page (you can link from her website) to see the final photos.

Kate was ably assisted by her Mom, Monty. Monty made her beautiful jacket, of course!
This pattern by Karen and the three patterns below are not out yet, but are coming soon. This one is Dream Catcher. The artwork is by Karen's friend Cindy.

Cindy also designed this fish bowl.

This one is called Buzz-zinga, named for a joke from the Big Bang Theory television show.
This pattern is so new it doesn't have a name yet. Kim G. made these for Karen to test the pattern. Kim said it was so easy she could make one in an hour, so she made two!

Kim P., Karen's sister, is making a third version.
This is Sheep Social in flannel. Pattern available here.

Sheep Tricks made by Nancy D. Pattern available at link above.
One more post to come...

Pugs and kisses,
Nancy
